It focuses on Jessie ( Sarah Snook) who has just been released from Louisiana hospital two months after a terrible car accident that killed her boyfriend and terminated her pregnancy which made her rely on her father. since she is wheelchair bound her father is not very kin on looking after her, leaving him no choice but to bring her back to the home where she grew up after her mother died of cancer.The focus is on the empty house she is left in shortly after her father is out, she experiences nightmares and frightening ghostly visits and strange noises echoing in the empty house that haunts her.
Having used character on a wheel chair restricts her movement which is very appealing personally to me because its scary knowing the fact that she would not be able to fight her own battles. It creates a suspense to what and how is she going to fight off all the strange experience she is facing.
